barefoot-style-catalog is the crawler behind barefoot.style, an independent catalogue of barefoot footwear. We don’t sell anything: every card in the catalogue links to the brand’s own store.
What it requests
- Once a day, in the evening (Central European time), the public product feed of each brand in the catalogue —
products.json, or a single collection of it. About 25 stores. - Only for products that are new since the previous day: the product page and its product photos.
- Typically 1–3 requests per store per day, up to about 20 on days with new products. One request at a time per store, 3–9 seconds apart.
How to recognise it
- User-Agent:
barefoot.style-catalog/1.0 (+https://barefoot.style/about/) - Every request is signed with Web Bot Auth (HTTP Message Signatures, Ed25519). Signature-Agent:
"https://barefoot.style". Public keys: https://barefoot.style/.well-known/http-message-signatures-directory - Source IP:
46.225.137.98
robots.txt
Each store’s robots.txt is reviewed before the store is added, and the bot only requests paths it allows.
Opting out
If you run one of the stores and would rather not be crawled, write to barefootfeed@gmail.com. We’ll take your store out of the crawl, usually within a day.
